The Harris County District Clerk is the most important job that most residents know the least about — but I know firsthand that the District Clerk’s Office is what keeps the wheels of justice turning in Harris County.

 

A well-run District Clerk’s office can mean the difference between you serving proudly as a juror or losing a day of work or time with your family. It can mean preserving the key piece of evidence that convicts the guilty or clears the innocent. It can mean protecting a family from abuse or helping finalize the adoption of a foster child.

 

I have deep experience managing large government agencies and have seen up close how government can either lift up a struggling family — or crush it under red tape. As your District Clerk, I’ll make sure we keep the wheels of justice turning: efficiently, fairly, and for everyone.
